No single winner. Offer first and Scene-setting finished within 25% of each other.
Offer first £20.74 cost per purchase from 28 purchases; Scene-setting £26.06 cost per purchase from 16 purchases. Too few purchases to judge: Character introduction. Meta put 51% of the spend on offer first, 37% on scene-setting.
For Halloween, offer first and scene-setting both work; offer first edges it on cost per purchase but on fewer purchases.
Run offer first against the current control on a different product or season to see whether it holds outside Halloween.

6 ads in 1 campaign. Figures are each ad's total since the test started, across every text it carries. Open an ad to see the copy it runs.

The 3 texts run as options inside 6 ads (Ad 59, Ad 60, Ad 61, Ad 62, Ad 63, Ad 64). Meta chooses which text each person sees, so the texts never get equal spend, and Reels and Stories show no primary text at all, so text spend adds up to less than the ads' total. Per-text results are a steer, not a verdict: a colder text can look weaker while still doing its job for people who are not ready yet.
Spend, clicks and purchases are as reported by Meta for the ads in each test, from the test's start date to today, which is partial. Where versions share an ad set, Meta decides how much each one spends, so compare cost per purchase and purchases per click rather than totals. A test is only called once its rule is met; stopping early on a good week is how false winners get made.
